Using Google Workspace via Web Browser
Using Google Workspace via Web Browser
Whether you're at your desk or on the move, Google Workspace provides powerful tools to help you communicate, collaborate, and get work done from anywhere. This guide will walk you through the essentials of accessing and using your Google Workspace account through web browsers on both computers and mobile devices.
Note: You should use one of the following Web Browsers from a computer or mobile device:
Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox.
1. Open a Web Browser and visit https://myaccount.google.com. Click on the "Go to Google Account" link.

Note: If you visited https://myaccount.google.com/ and instead of the screen shots above, it looks like the screen shots below, then follow the instructions below, otherwise go straight to step 2.

If your situation matches the screen shots directly above, then that means you are already logged in with a google user account, probably your personal one if you use Gmail, google docs, ect.
In this case, we will login to your DVAC account as an additional session. This will allow you to access both accounts from the same browser while not mixing the contents of those accounts together.
Click on the User Account Icon at the upper right side of the site. It will pull down a Dialog that looks like the screen shot below. Click on "Add Account":

2. Enter your DVAC email address and password in the next prompts.
3. If you have multi-factor authentication on your account (Which you should. It's a great security best practice), you will need to verify the login via your multi-factor authentication method. If you do not have it setup, you will skip this step.
You should now be logged in on https://myaccount.google.com/ with your DVAC workspace account. See the sections below for more information on navigating Workspace and switching between workspace accounts if you also have a personal google account.
After successfully logging into your Google Workspace account, you'll have immediate access to a powerful suite of productivity tools designed to help you communicate and collaborate effectively. The Google Workspace interface makes it simple to navigate between applications with just a few clicks or taps.
From your Gmail inbox to shared documents in Drive, everything is interconnected and accessible through the app launcher menu (often called the "waffle" or "grid" icon) located in the upper right corner of your screen. This central hub gives you one-click access to all your essential tools including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, and more—allowing you to seamlessly switch between tasks without interrupting your workflow.

Managing multiple Google identities is a common scenario for many of us in today's digital world. You may have your DVAC Google Workspace account for organization-related tasks, a personal Gmail account for private communications, and perhaps even additional accounts for other projects or roles. Google's account switching feature makes it easy to navigate between these different digital identities without the hassle of repeatedly logging in and out.
This seamless transition between accounts helps you maintain appropriate boundaries between work and personal content while still enjoying quick access to all your resources. In this section, we'll walk you through the straightforward process of switching between multiple accounts with just a few clicks.
1. To switch between accounts, start by clicking on the User Account icon at the upper right of the site:

2. Next click on the Account that you want to switch to:

via Mobile Device
Thats it! You should now be switched to the other account. You can follow this same process to switch back to the other account or from different Google Apps to switch what account you are currently using with them.
