DVAC Google Workspace Account Recovery
DVAC Google Workspace Account Recovery
DVAC has implemented Google Workspace as our online collaboration tool. We've created your Google Workspace account, which will provide you with access to email (within DVAC only for now), calendar, and drive, all tailored for our DVAC workspace. Below you will find several options for recovering your account if you are unable to currently access it.

You can also use the Account Recovery tool to see if you can recover your account email address:
1. Goto https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery. Click on the "Forgot email?" Link
2. Enter your phone number or personal email address that you provided to DVAC.
3. Enter your first name and last name exactly as you provided them to DVAC. If you don't enter the name exactly like how you provided it to DVAC, the account might not be found.
4. On the next screen, Google will ask to send you a verification code via the phone number or email you provided. Be sure to click the "Send Button".
5. Enter the verification code you received from google into the recovery website.
6. On the next screen, you should see a list of all accounts that were found under your name, phone number/email. Select your DVAC account which should end in @dumontambulance.org.
7. To continue with resetting your password from this point, start at Step 2 in the section titled "Recovering Your Account Password", below.

It'll ask you for a password but just ignore that part since you don't know it.
Instead click the link that says "Try another way"
3. Depending on what level of security you have on your account, you may need to click "Try another way", several times until a recovery method that works for you appears. Once you recognize a recovery method, click it.
4. Once you select your method of recovery, you will receive a verification code via email or phone. Enter it and click Next.
5. You may be sent a second verification code for security purposes to either your email or your phone. Enter it and click next.
6. You should now be logged into your account. You should absolutely click the "Update password" link and update your password to something that you will remember.
After you've entered a new password, click Save Password. You should now be able to log into other Google Services using your DVAC Workspace username and password.
You should now be able to log into your account with the password you picked during the reset.
